ProGlide Aluminium started from humble beginnings in Poole, Dorset, just two men, a van and a vision. We started out installing uPVC windows and doors, working tirelessly to build a reputation for quality installations and reliability. Over the years, as our expertise grew, so did our business. What began as a small operation steadily expanded into a company with multiple teams serving customers across the south coast.

With over 30 years in the industry we’ve seen it all, the good, the bad and the poorly made. Time and time again, we saw customers investing in windows and doors that were not up to standard. We knew there had to be a better way, one that focused on quality, not quantity.

That’s why we founded ProGlide Aluminium. Today, we fabricate and supply premium aluminium windows, entrance doors, bifold doors and sliding doors, using only the finest aluminium profiles chosen for their strength, energy efficiency and sustainability.

For us, it’s not just about making windows and doors, it’s about fabricating products that last. Every product we produce is designed for durability, security and seamless operation, ensuring our customers receive only the best.

Industry leading u-values

Proglide brings leading-edge thermal efficiency to aluminium windows and doors design, achieving u-values as low as 0.68W/m2k. With integrated thermal insulation, it can also accommodate IGUs of up to 71mm, making them Part L and Future Homes ready.

Sustainability

Our window profiles are 100% recyclable and can be recycled at least 8 times. That means a lifecycle of up to 300 years. As a result, we need to use less new, raw materials.

Contemporary & minimalistic design

Hidden drainage – Proglide uses through-frame drainage across its complete range, leaving clean, contemporary and uninterrupted sightlines.

Made Sustainably

Each Proglide door or window frame contains 12-14 recycled PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) bottles in its thermal inserts.

Proglide aluminium windows and doors are expertly fabricated to exacting standards, minimising waste through precision engineering.

Components, including the high-grade aluminium used for thermal reinforcements, are 100% recyclable.

Single-use plastic waste, such as discarded water bottles are being repurposed into advanced thermal break technologies.

All of this helps us create ultra-energy efficient aluminium windows and doors with low U-values (a measure of heat transfer), ensuring your home retains more energy.
